Minerva’s owl spreads its wings at dusk and that does not just apply to this evening. Dear friends, dear campaign colleagues, dear party colleagues, dear companions because only now – in the late hours of the day – are the polls being released, is news being released do we know how we [the party] are doing, do we have knowledge of what happened on this day. But, Minerva’s owl did not only spread his wings tonight. It’s much broader. Usually it takes until it’s almost too late before we realise what we have and what we should have preserved. When it’s almost too late. And that’s how we stand here, tonight. One hour before midnight, literally. In the midst of the ruins of what was once the greatest and most beautiful civilisation that the world has ever known. A civilisation that…
The greatest and most beautiful civilisation that the world has ever known. A civilisation that spanned all corners of the world that was full of confidence that has brought us the most beautiful architecture, music, and art that has ever existed under the starry sky. Our country is a part of that family of civilisations. But just like all other countries of our ‘Boreal world’ are we being destroyed by the very people who were supposed to protect us. We are being undermined by our own universities, our journalists, by those who receive our ‘art subsidies’ and by those who design our buildings. And above all, we are being undermined by our political leaders.
A clique – a clique of jumped-up networkers occupational congress people who have never read a book in their lives and who have no idea what the important issues are, in the long run. Unfortunate, these people control the decision-making organs of our country and keep on making in a peculiar mixture of ignorance and cynical self-interest – time after time – the worn decisions. Not for long.
Economical idiot Mark Rutte (Prime Minister) raises taxes at the height of the financial crisis which makes the purchasing power of decrease tremendously and creates a situation where pensions cannot be indexed and where today – in total – 2.5 million people are standing at the periphery of our society. Below the poverty line. Unemployed or at a high risk of becoming unemployed. Thereafter, consecutive Rutted administrations left the borders wide open and did they break immigration record after immigration record.
Besides the many problem with immigration and integration that we already have hundreds of the thousands of people – from completely different cultures – were let in. All while the government also voted against our motion to send those Syrian refugees who are able to return back. Next, they signed the Marrakech Treaty alongside all the consequences that that will have in years to come.
An absolute crisis within our police is on the horizon which will put great pressure on our everyday security, which is already near impossible to be warranted. And as we said Utrecht on Monday, rapists, robbers, incredibly dangerous people, were able to just freely roam our streets. It is scandalous.
There is a breakdown going on in our education system. There is a bureaucratic usury in our healthcare system. And both, need to be dealt with. But, those aren’t all mistakes by Rutte. He also just accepted all those plans by the terrible European Union, which was trying to play boss over us. He sacrificed our ‘pulsvissers’ (fishermen using electric pulse techniques) neglected the farmers with their phosphate rights. And also accepted that our pensions are now gradually being brought under EU control.

What is going on here? Why does all this happen? People do not believe in the Netherlands anymore, that is certain. No longer in Western civilisation, as well. No longer in our language, which is being replaced [by English] in our Universities. People no longer believe in our arts, in our past. People no longer believe in our festivities, our heroes, our traditional urban architecture. But in all of that disbelief, inside that immense vacuum, that cultural and spiritual vacuum has sprung up – almost unnoticed – a grandiose heresy. A new immanent religion, a political theology.
The members of the [party] cartel, they don’t believe in anything while at the same time worshipping one God, called ‘transition’. Hundreds of billions of Euros, we even thing one thousand billion (1 trillion) Euros if you add all costs up is what they want to sacrifice on the altar of this God. In the shape of wind turbines, heat pumps, solar panels and other completely unprofitable projects that bring us nothing, that don’t help our planet, but that do cost us a lot of money and thus mostly punish us.
It is a masochistic here say this secularised deluge myth, which – in our time – has captured the hearts and souls of our political leaders. A mania. Comparable to the death cult that once afflicted Easter Island. And this ‘sustainability’ idolatry does not just collapse our entire economy. It is also meant to further hurt our psyche, our consciousness. Indeed, guilt is what this climate-witchery feeds itself on.
“We must be punished!”, the power-seeking leaders of this country parrot. The ecological high priests. It is pure ‘Oikophobia’! Pure self-hatred! It is a guilt complex that apparently needs an outlet. And if you want to say something about it if the people turn against the overall capitulation of our political leaders if the people in this country protests… Do you know what they’ll do? Then they just abolish the referendum [as a political instrument].
That is the state of our country today. That arrogance, ladies and gentlemen, friends, that stupidity, that has today been punished. Because on this day as we are in this crisis this dusk, this sunset on this day, Minerva’s owl has been finally ascended. Today, Forum for Democracy has become either the largest, the tied largest or the second largest party in the Netherlands.

The voters in the Netherlands have – not unlike Minerva’s owl – spread their wings have shown their true power. The owl of wisdom has ascended and has put the entire earth into motion. Because these wings are not just for flying. They are also wicks to move air to put in motion a wind of change to make this country ours once again and to end the age of cultural, economical and political capitulation.
Friends, friends… We have not stood still in recent times. We have examined more than two thousand CV’s. We have spoken to more than 1,300 people. We have done more than 600 comprehensive interviews. We have trained hundreds of people. We have put together a fantastic list of candidates. And with those people, we have conducted a hopeful, optimistic and serious campaign. We are visited all of the Netherlands in halls, on the streets, in malls, at companies, in schools, in hospitals…Everywhere. And we have moved the entire country and the result, ladies and gentlemen, the result tonight. The result!
“I would have never noticed the sun, if it didn’t set every night.” -Menno Wigman
I would have never noticed the beauty of the Netherlands if our beautiful country had not been so squandered by the political leaders of the [party] cartel. Actually, if all this had not happened, this uncontrolled immigrations, our streets so distorted all the leftists indoctrination in our education system, all the ugly architecture and the power expansion of the European Union, all the climate heresy if all of this had not happened, I would have never gone into politics.
But… But we have been called to the front lines. Because we must. Because our country needs us. And we Dear friends… We are the result of 300,000 years of evolution. We have survived multiple ice ages. We have floored mammoths. We… We are the carriers. We are the heirs to the greatest civilisation that has ever existed. We carry a unique force and decades of indoctrination from the media and our education system cannot every bury that. It’s something that’s inside of us and can’t ever be taken away from us.
And today – and you can feel it in this room – we have decided to battle again, to dream again, to hope again, to fight again. And looking back on the past three years, that’s the strongest feeling that I have. What we have achieved together the desire to build again, the desire to go for it, the belief in the future and I want to thank you all for that. When we started this journey to – along with all the people here and many more – collect signatures for the referendum on the ‘Ukraine-European Union Association Agreement’ everybody said… Do you remember what everybody said?
“You won’t ever succeed.” Then we had to reach the turn-out threshold of 30%. 6th of April 2016. Everybody said? “You won’t ever succeed.” We travelled the entire country, been everywhere, participated in debates everywhere. Everybody thought we wouldn’t be able to do it, but we were. The result was an overwhelming ‘No’. Rutte laughed, everybody laughed because a supplementary sheet appeared, remember?
Which shifted aside the voice of the people. We weren’t having it. We did not accept it and we started our own political party. And everybody was talking about ‘fragmentation’. And everybody was talking about ‘Peppi en Kokki’ (Dutch Children’s TV due resembling the party leaders) And everybody said “You won’t ever succeed.” But we did and we entered parliament with two seats on the 15th of March 2017.
And also back then… also back then, they had prepared their words. Also back them, Mark Rutte laughed and spoke “Effectively being an opposition party with two seats…” “You won’t ever succeed.” And here we are tonight. Here we are tonight. We are now represented in all provinces. In the senate, we are represented. You’ve heard Annabel. In Amsterdam, we are present.
Derk-Jan Eppink – who will be leading the candidacy list for the European parliament – is also here tonight. There, we will also be present. So today is the moment to send a message to Mark Rutte and the established powers… “Ignoring Forum for Democracy any longer, you will…”
(Crowd:) “…never succeed.”
We know. We – as FvD’ers – know that you don’t have to accept the metaphysical foundations of Christendom to still believe in the resurrection principle as a leading motive of Western civilisation. Something which seemed dead, something which seemed gone, something which seemed left behind us something which was supposed to be left behind us definitively can – as we know – blossom again.
[Thierry Baudet:] Source: LYBIO.net
The idea that something which was dead that something that was forever gone, could blossom again exactly that… exactly that – dear friends – is our guideline, is our leading motive. It is our motto for life. Because we are the party of resurrection… we are the part of the “Renaissance’ and that is what we want to achieve.
And it has never been more urgent than now, to want to achieve that. it has never been more urgent than now, to want to achieve that. It has never been more necessary than now that people with good intentions join forces to re-establish the bonds with our traditions to find our power again and to create new ‘cross-pollinations’ to combine all the good that there is to be found in the world with our ancient roots and make the country blossom again.
We are building. We are building a party with a training instituted, with local departments, with provincial groups with a group in the senate, with a group in parliament, with a group in the European parliament. We are training a new generation and the current leaders, we will replace and defeat.
We have the right people to defeat the European Union. We have concrete solutions to stop mass immigration. We have the right people to restore control over our borders and to unbundle the Euro currency so that we – finally – will once again have power over our own country. We will not rest. We will not rest until our democracy is restored and the party cartel has been broken.
[Thierry Baudet:] Source: LYBIO.net
We will introduce binding referendums, the rights of citizen’s initiative open solicitations for public office democratically elected mayors, and we will clean up… clean up the NPO (Public Broadcasting Company). That’s right. Again, we will… Again, we will reach beyond our horizons. We will bring about a ‘Renaissance’. In which our confidence is restored, in which we can live safely again in a familiar environment, in which democratic rule of law has been restored and cultural and economic dynamics can return.
And as you know we will happily do that, working along side all other parties and movements because we are the flagship of the ‘fleet of the Renaissance’. And other ships can join us. We want to work together with everybody. We will show that in the provinces, we will show that on a national level and we will show that on a European level. Because, friends, we will – with this party – re-establish the pride of our country. We will. On this rock, we will build our column. We will restore our democracy. And today… today, we have won the first major land battle. Thank you.
