[Theresa May: We Can Still Secure Success If Everyone Comes Together]
[Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn:]
[joking] In view of the – in view of the amazing performance of Liverpool last night, perhaps the Prime Minister could take some tips from Jurgen Klopp on how to get a good result in Europe.
[Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn:]
Mr. Speaker, our national health service is our countries greatest achievement, its staff show amazing dedication, but this governments failures are taking their toll. A NHS staff survey found that 40% of staff have reported suffering work-related stress in the last year alone.
Mr. Speaker can the government explain why they are being so severely let down by this government?
[Theresa May British Prime Minister:]
Can I first of all say is the Right Honorable Gentleman – I actually think that when we look at the Liverpool’s win over Barcelona, lat night, what it shows is that,
when everyone says it’s all over, that your European opposition have got you beat, the clock is ticking down, it’s time to concede defeat, actually we can still secure success if everyone comes together.

Your thinking on this.
That’s why – I really think I’m again not the right person to talk about it, if I’m asked, I give my opinion so that it, I’m not the best informed person in the world. So the only thing –
But people listen to you.

Then it’s going to be the problem then, they listen – they listen to often to the wrong people and that’s why I think a few things happened in – that’s why Trump is President of the USA – that’s why things, I guess can happen so there must be people that are best suited to the job – that’s kind of – it’s not possible a country like this – at the end – wow! It’s Donald Trump! So… and exactly the same is Brexit. It’s not – it’s not the solution. So… if you’re … and I said it before the EU is not perfect, was not perfect, is not perfect, will not be perfect, but it’s the best idea we had so far, so if you – and what I said about this is historically its proven that as long as many powerful countries are together, everything is fine. In a moment when we split and one goes this direction and one goes this way – now problems.
We all learn from history – it will not be big problems – in a moment we talk about economy, of course, but it’s – it’s a problem.
And I don’t – I don’t understand it, and I don’t – didn’t understand [David] Cameron [Former British Prime Minister] when he had the idea, I didn’t understand- and the people is 51 not 49 something – that you can – such an important thing – you split the country already in the [middle] when you ask the question, that makes no sense as well.
So… and information was not right. Pro-Brexit was pretty loud, obvious, on buses, on everything.
Pro-EU was like, we don’t have to because the people – common sense will make the decision, and in the end it happened so… so that’s okay.
But I really think that – that when we, as long as we stick together as Europeans everything can be sorted in the future.
