Preventive malaria treatment protects babies and children under five. Although it doesn’t taste very good it’s a simple way to save lives. In July, MSF treated 14,725 children in Rann. More than 140 community health workers were trained for this prevention campaign. They went from house to house to treat all children. Teams also distributed insecticide treated mosquito nets.
More than 1.7 million people have been displaced in Borno state, Northeast Nigeria
