In London, there are 80 000 jobs in the technology industry and yet last year, only 375 teenagers took an A-level in computing. Apps for good is a technology education movement bringing together the teachers and tech experts to help young people design apps that change their world.

We ask young people to come up with things they are passionate about. That could be that you’ve been bullied in school, that you’ve been stopped and searched by the police, so you can create an app about civil rights. It really matters what is relevant to them.
