Daenerys Targaryen, the khaleesi and mother of dragons, known for her beauty and strength. I am gonna show you, how to recreate her effortless look. Did you know that it takes two hours for Daenerys’ hair team to put a wig on? To begin we have to recreate her flawless complexion, prime the face first, this will help the make up last longer, and control oil and shine while creating a smooth surface for the foundation to lay on top of.

Now for a foundation, Daenerys has light skin, but it changes depending on the environment, so I am gonna keep my foundation color closer to my natural shade.

Even with a busy schedule the khaleesi hardly has any dark circles, so cover them up. To blend you can either use a concealer brush, a sponge, or your fingers.

Yep, I am pretty sure every queen has a big dazzled Hello Kitty Mare. So hurry up and finish creating your flawless face and let’s move on to the next step, creating her signature brows.

Daenerys has very full brows. They kind of remind me of Brooke Shields, full and straight. This will give you a very innocent yet strong look.

So fill in your brows, creating little stray marks and don’t worry if they start looking like chicken scratch because you can soften them out with this spoolie.

Sometimes when your brows look exactly the same it can look a little too artificial, ironically it’s more natural when you have slightly uneven brows.

Now I am going to brush on a blond color brow gel on the tips of my brow hair to create an illusion of lighter brows. Cool, let’s get to me. Shall we move on?

Take out your eye shadow collection and select a mauve color. Apply a wash on your entire lids to darken them just a bit.

Now take a taupe color and apply this on your crease. You can locate your crease by finding the hollows of your eye socket.

She doesn’t really wear make up on the show and if she does it’s usually very, very natural, but what I am doing here is recreating her deep eye lid crease.

Take your blending brush and soften the eye shadow, it should look like a natural contour. The actress Emilia Clarke has deeper eye lids than me, so I have to take an extra step to recreate that look, if you already have deep eye lid creases, just skip this step.

Using a MAC dark brown eyeshadow place this color on the outer edge of the crease and move towards the inner part of your crease like this. With the same blending brush soften it out.

Now select a shimmery gold and bronze color, mix them together to neutralize the color so it’s not too gold and place this along the inner corner of your eyes to create an illusion of bigger eyes and add just a bit on the center of your lid to bring more depth to you eyes, this will catch the light beautifully.

Now its time for eyeliner. Create a very, very thin line with a black or better yet grey pencil liner. The reason why, I am using a pencil is because it’s softer than the liquid liner. With a liner brush, create a soft edge and flick the brush up for a very subtle cat eye.

And now it’s time for Daenerys’ eye color. In the show she has blue eyes, but in the book she has purple eyes.

CURL & APPLY MASCARA

Now it’s time to curl your lashes and apply mascara with a natural finish.

RESHAPE YOUR LIPS

Moving on to the lips.

The khaleesi has beautifully shaped lips, not too big and not too small. I’m using a little bit of concealer to reshape my lips. Or you can use a nude lip liner. I have to make my lip smaller, but if you need to make them a little bigger, use a natural colored lip liner.

Powder to set the concealer and make up, so it doesn’t slip and slide and added touch of a rose color on your lips and cheeks for a natural finish.

It’s time to complete your regal look with a dab of a nude lip gloss on the center of your lips for that extra shine. And from here just touch up anything else. And now you’re finished.

FINISHED
