The problem at the moment in the UK is that there is 990 thousand young people aged 16 to 25 all looking for employment opportunities. The problem for a lot of young people who want to create entreprises. Is the prohibitive cost of capital equipment and digital fabrication machinery. What MAKLab does is provide very low cost, open access to that machinery therefore reducing the hard job of starting their business and developing products all the way to market.
