Umm and my son Nick who made this recording said to me, we were terrified up there that night. The the help told their kids to leave the house and to take shelter in another house. His mother wound up really crying. And Nick – Nick took a butcher knife from the kitchen knife and slept with it under his pillow.

Yes. ( ) early fabricated, I didn’t go public with this. He took his letter to the L.A. Times and he took it very public and I couldn’t stand around and be called a liar. Umm, at my age having gone through some fights in my life and then I really feel that I have the need to show that what I did was truthful. Now. There – there were other reasons umm. The – I – I feel that that that the behavior on this tape reflects the behavior that he’s out of control. Um, he’s he’s a potentially dangerous in terms of the violence that’s in parenthesis um ah on this tape. Um, and I feel that – that – that I don’t wanna cause him damage. But I do wanna prevent damage done to those whom he hates beginning with Jews, moving on to Oskana, and I’m sure now, um moving on to me and my family. I wanna underline something that I’ve said in the letter letter that’s one of the causative reasons that that that that I’m releasing this tape – that is my great fear that if there is no intervention, if he doesn’t get help, he doesn’t seek help and receive it that someones gonna get hurt. And and as a human being um I have to do whatever I can to stop him.
