Charlie Simpson – Seven Year Old Raises Money For Haiti

Ever since, Haiti was stuck by an earthquake in early January, the public has donated more than 38 million pounds, to help provide food, water and shelter. A seven year old boy from West London, also wanted to help raise money, through a five mile sponsored bike ride with his father. Charlie Simpson aimed to raise 500 pounds but donation now stand at more than one hundred thousand pounds.

After setting up an internet page, donations flooded in from around the world for the bike ride that took place on Sunday the 24th of January, he raised nearly, 50,000 pounds in one day, alone. All the funds will go to UNICEF – Children’s Appeal following the Haiti earthquake.
