Chris Crocker – Codependency

Okay I’m just letting yall know this is a video I mean straight from the heart if i never do a video again. I mean what I’m about to say. ( pause ) We all know someone who doesn’t know how to love themselves they constantly have to have a boyfriend or a girlfriend, okay, they just, they cant, they cant even fathom the thought of being alone.

They constantly have to be dating someone its called co-dependency. These people try to tell themselves: ” No I just don’t like to be alone”. No ______ you are co-dependent. And what someone really needs to do is look at you and go ( Chris Crocker: slaps his face ) And make you wake up and love yourself! Co-dependency is not cute, it is not classy and it is not Chris Crocker!

I’m not co-dependent and I have been before. But I’m now independent. Okay. I don’t need a boyfriend.

I luv myself, I fuz myself, I feed myself.

Okay, what do I need a boyfriend.

Okay, I understand its nice to have a boyfriend.

But for some of you all, I just really feel bad for you.

You don’t know whats it like to love yourself.

You look for love in, in everyone but you.

Love is in you.

You look for love in people, the only person who loves really inside of is you.

Be around boyfriend if you happened to have one, be around girlfriend

Hug yourself, love yourself

Get up in the morning and look at it, kiss it, tongue it if you have to honey. Do what you need to do. Quit with all this dependency. Co-dependency is not in style and never will be. Who wants to be with someone who constantly wants to be with someone?

Who wants to date someone when their happiness relies on them.

Honey make your own selves happy its gross.

And on top of that, who wants to be with some one who has been with one thousand people. Who knows what kind of critters they have running around in them jeans.
