Civil liberties. We simply ask to work with you and be one one side.
I mean, we don’t protest when the St. Charles police tell us we can protest. We have a First Amendment Right.
As long as it doesn’t infringe on public safety, right.
Right, so why can’t we just I mean, the track exit is here cars, and the people backing up to get off on this exit right here.
You’re welcomed to your opinion.
You know we do this all the time. We do this all the time.
We don’t normally have accidents.
Yeah, we are seeing, there hasn’t a problems before. And we’re having problems today.
Why don’t we just move all, is that a compromise. That is a good compromise.
I mean it’s a good compromise for us to just stay on this side over here.
No, actually we are just going to have you guys exit the bridge.
Well, you don’t have right to do that.
I do, you’re causing a traffic hazard, and that’s really the end of it.
That’s your opinion.
We’ll give you guys a few minutes to take all your signs and everything you put on.
You could put post, when your car is right there, with the lights on. Slow traffic down.
That’s definitely not.
That is going to cause more traffic problems than already is.
We’ve already told you what we’re doing today. We’re going to have you guys clear the bridge, we’ll give you few minutes to get to your stuff and get back on your way, we appreciate that.
And what if we don’t leave.
No, I asked, you can do excellent (Inaudible). Source: LYBIO.net
What law are you citing, that you’re going to arrest some…
I haven’t cited any law, I haven’t said, I’m going to arrest you, have I. As long as you’re obedient, you’re fine with us, we are fine.
I have an order from my attorney – a letter from my attorney, say, I have my First Amendment speech, right to assemble and protest.
And we’re trying to compromise with you and say that we will simply go to the side, where they have not been any accidents all morning.
Sir, I’ve already asked you to just (leave the overpass) right.
Well, you asked us, that is a request. Right, request we don’t have to, if you asked us and you were to tell him.
I’ve been polite, I’d ask you to leave the overpass and (Inaudible).
Oh, you ask us, okay and you ask us with, I understand.
So are you going to leave.
I don’t think so.
What’s that? What’s that?
You’re failing to obey what we were telling you.
I mean, what gives you authority to order me around in the public sidewalk.
That’s not the question.
Are you – are you refusing to leave? That’s my question?
Am I refusing to leave?
Well, you tell me – tell me what authority you can tell me to leave here?
I just – do you recognize that I’m a peace officer.
I recognized your – but you know, yeah.
Okay, and I asked you and told you that you need to leave. Are you going to leave, is the question?
Well, I mean is there a law, are we breaking law here?
I’ve just gave you two chances. A third chance, you’re going to jail with me. Source: LYBIO.net

Is this necessary to tackle him to do this.

What am I doing, sir?

I don’t know.
At this point we were sat on a curb directly behind the exhaust of a motor vehicle with the engine running and forced to breathe the noxious fumes.
I told the two troopers watching us that the exhaust was making me sick and asked to be moved. They refused.
After a while I felt sick on my stomach from breathing the deadly exhaust and asked to be moved before I threw up.
The female trooper said that I was being “combatant” and the male trooper told me to bend over and throw up in the street so I would not throw up on myself.
Fortunately, another trooper arrived and moved us a few feet where we sat until the “patty wagon” arrived for us.
We spent 24 hours in the St. Charles County jail charged with failure to obey an order from an officer and resisting arrest.
