So, so I spoke a little bit about this last night and ah it’s become really part of the message of the show and it actually grew out of Born This Way but it didn’t grow out of the initial material. When I wrote Born This Way, I wrote it about all of you, I wrote it about our generation, I wrote it about the things I truly feel about where we are now in society but when it came out, it was a real test, wasn’t it? It’s a real test to how we’ve grown, it’s a test to how people view equality and what I wanted to talk to you guys about and what I like to sort of reflect on to during was part of the show is the importance of Born This Way and what I hope and I know that you hope in your heart is that we’re not in the same place that we were 25 years ago when it comes to being gay. Why do I have to be gay and be a cunt? Why do I have to be gay and have to slice you to defend myself? Why if I’m gay do I have to ah be shady? Or or – bite you because I want to defend and separate myself from humanity. We’re not in that place anymore. There’s no need to put people down. And I don’t feel good when I belittle anyone, I don’t feel good making people feel bad about themselves or mocking them or mocking their work. So I just wanted to show you how powerful you are.

It’s not relevant anymore to hold on to the past and hold on to the pain of what was, what’s relevant now is to leave that all behind and look forward to a future where it doesn’t matter what you are because we are all human and we all deserve to be valued and know our value no matter where we are. So that’s what my message is. That’s what Born This Way is all about and I couldn’t give two shits about record sales and I honestly don’t give two shits about anyone what they think of me, I don’t wake up in the morning and care if people like me. All I care is that you smile and you feel something when you hear this music. So, on that note Little Monsters, thank you, thank you for being the powerful amazing generation that you are, I’m so proud to be your Pop-Star. And I want you to know, I don’t ever wanna be your queen so don’t ask me to, don’t call me your queen, I’m you! I’m just one of you. I’m just one of you that works really hard and is speaking the truth and anyone of you can do it and I truly believe that. So this is about – this song is called Hair, and I wrote this song about —
