I was a go-go dancer, so I like to wear stripper shoes, so I , we buy very inexpensive shoes and then we re-enforce them. I dress differently on stage to off stage, sometimes I get excited and i steal my own customs. The hardest part of my job is that I’m bosy, I spend hours and hours calling every one on my team to put together the show of my dreams, cause really this is my only opportunity to live my dream. I keep a strong relationship with my fans, they come to the show so full of life and energy,

Well I, I don’t really have a tremendous connection the celebrity world, in that way, and so my friendships are really with my fans, and that’s how I really communicate with, my vision is really through them and music.

You know, we were just talking in the commercial break, and life goes on for us, and everybody will go out and get their groceries today, and do all the things you do on a Friday, and I do the show, Ga Ga will leave and do her work and be in her head, but we were saying that their is nothing more important than what is going on in Haiti.

There is still suffering, and i was thinking earlier too, cause I was in New York when 911, that’s where I grew up and I always thought, the level of disaster is not even in the neighborhood of what’s happening in Haiti but, I just remember feeling like nobody understood what we were all going through in New York and I worry about that for young people, that they don’t know about what’s really going on there and I really just wanted to say today, that on the 24th the Monster Ball, in New York City, all of the money that I make in ticket sales and merchandise that day is gonna go to Haiti, so every dollar.

Let me say, that’s what you can do! I can do something different and everybody who is watching can do something different and so. I was saying to Ga Ga the most important thing for me, cause I know, all the attention is on, Haiti now, the most important thing for me, having this platform, is weeks from now, still continuing because when it’s out of our consciousness they will still be suffering.

Oprah had Art Smith, chef, come and cook for me today, this morning, I’m the huge-est fan and secretly wannabe foodie. And I love to cook, that’s what people don’t know about me, and I’m such a huge fan and he made me chicken and waffles this morning.

Chicken and waffles, I came in the kitchen this morning and there was fried chicken everywhere, you were eating. Have you been eating fried chicken already this morning?

YES, but it was so, you know I always have trying weeks so my physical schedule, and sometimes when i wake up in the morning I, oh, gosh, I need to find my soul, and he just gave me some soul this morning. I got soul for Oprah today.

So I love what you said earlier, you are not just being provocative, just to be provocative, but, that you want your, your music, to inspire people and to say something and to mean something, what do you think you have most, you have all people who are, I don’t know, who are little monsters, little, little monsters, all the little monsters, who are dressing up like you, my friend Gale tried to get me to dress up like a little monster, I would look like a little fool.

And be truly happy for inside, and I say that so, so genuiely to you, because I perform every night and look into your beautiful eyes and I love you so much.
