So I was in Baltimore yesterday with Kadir Latif. We went there for the protests of Freddie Gray, young African-American guy who got his leg broken by police. And later had his neck broken, he was killed while in custody. So you know – we went out there. And it just wild to me and how you watch the news and the news gives you something but yet, when you are there, you see how it really is and I single handedly saw how the media hand picks the most ruggedest tattooist person to be on the screen to be interview, because you know they are going to say some wild.
There is knuckle heads in every religion, there’s knuckle heads in every single race. There were peaceful protesters out there. There was people that were really down for change and a different stand up against these racist police officers. And we don’t get to see that on the news. So you get to – you know – the people who weren’t there, white America who is not there – gets to conveniently bang out on social media on their opinions of ‘well, if they’d stop breaking the law then, that wouldn’t happen to them, well, if they go to school and get an education that wouldn’t happen to them. If they be’, you don’t know what you are talking about because you are not there, you don’t understand ‘the system’. That they ‘grow up’ in that that – they are raised like this, man.
You get to be raised in Suburbia, they are not raised in Suburbia that’s real life man, life in death. And the video that’s about to go viral of the black man, pulling up the garbage [correction] garbage can and throwing it into the back of the police cruiser, right that’s an animal, that’s a thug.
Listen, everyone is dealt – deals with death differently. You can’t tell someone how to deal with death. You can’t tell someone how to deal with oppression and when it gets built up. If you think Michael Brown was the reason that Ferguson got set on fire, no, no, no. Black people are harassed by the police every single day. This is just the catalyst. This is the straw that broke the camel’s back. That Mike Brown was shot and killed, ready to go to college on Monday. But no, no, no, we get to show the clip over and over of robbing some store.
You know what the real thing was about that.

It just crazy to me, man. Just keep opinions to yourself – like I said I was there. I was in the streets there. I saw people. I saw people bringing their kids out there. I saw them peacefully stop traffic and you had to beep your horn for Freddy Gray in order to get by. And if you don’t beep your horn, people wild out. In your car, you know – might of got dinged up a little bit but just please do some research, please study, please look at the history, please look at ‘the system’, before you cast judgment on social media. [Cliff Hagerman] with Kadir Latif, I’m out.
