Probably, this video is going to be taken down by YouTube as “hate speech”.
But I don’t care.
Actually, I didn’t to know about him at all, he is such a famous person on the internet. But to be honest with you. I really don’t understand why he got so popular in the U.S. I have checked some of his videos, but it’s just so childish, and not even funny!
I just can’t understand.
Why so many American kids admire this guy. But anyway, I don’t care whatever video he makes, If that attracts many people and makes them feel happy, that’s actually great! Go for it!
But I really cannot believe, what he has done in Japan. This is beyond ridiculous. Disgusting to be honest. I’m seriously pissed off, more than ever in my entire life.
That’s not just because I’m a native Japanese person, and really like Japan, really proud of my country. Anyone doing that in any country, is not acceptable. Culture difference aside.
As a human being. As of the common sense. Anyone must to know that, that’s not okay.
Killing innocent people is not okay! In any country!
Raping women is not okay, anywhere!
Posting a video that shows a dead body, and laughing at that-is NOT okay.
I don’t care, you are super star YouTuber in the U.S, or whatever. I don’t give a fuck. But I do give a fuck, if you are doing such a disgusting, insulting act in my country. I honestly wish you were in jail right now. At least, I really hope that you never comeback to Japan. NEVER!
Don’t you ever bring such a shitty, disgusting attitude to my country. Our country is not an amusement park! Why don’t you stop acting like a five-year old child?
Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m not expecting all foreigners to have exactly the same standard in a common sense as Japanese people do. We should consider culture difference. But I can’t just believe that! A 22 years-old adult… Actually has done that. And this is not just one-time actually. He has been causing this kind of trouble, quite many times already. Having said that, the only good thing I can find into this entire incident is… He apologized. Some people don’t apologize, even though they know that’s a bad thing. So in that sense, maybe he is actually not just a douche-bag. Maybe he actually has a common sense, a little bit. But something I still don’t get, because he said: It doesn’t make any sense! How the hell did your action have something to do with suicide prevention? I really find it hard to understand that. Maybe this is because I’m Japanese, Not American.
Now just in case you may be thinking right now “You’re really upset because he’s a foreigner!” “You just don’t like foreigners right?” “Yeah, you don’t like black people”. “You don’t like Muslims.” That’s completely not true.
It doesn’t matter if you are a foreigner or Japanese. If you are American or Chinese. If you are white or black or whatever.
I would be pissed off, by anyone doing that bullshit. How could anyone be tolerant with that?
Now many people are concerned that he made a really bad image on Japanese people. About Americans, or even foreigners. But don’t worry, maybe that’s not the case. Of course, I’m sure, any Japanese person watching that video is disgusted about him. But the thing is, it’s not really a big news here as much as in the U.S.. I just found out yesterday.
So maybe not many Japanese people know that incident yet.
Aside from that, most Japanese people know that. He’s not representing Americans. I’m sure they already know that. There are always good people, and bad people in any country. That’s just his actions as an individual. But I personally have a different view. Especially since I became a Japanese teacher. I’ve seen a lot of foreigners behaving quite bad in Japan.
Of course, I’ve also seen many foreigners who are great speaking Japanese, and understanding the culture. Which I have no issue whatsoever. I actually really appreciate that but definitely, that’s not everyone in reality. Unfortunately, some foreigners are like Logan Paul and even committing crimes.
I’ve actually seen that enough.
You might already know my channel but because of that, my view about immigration and foreigners, has been quite changing over the past few months. When I first started this YouTube channel, I was like, “anyone is welcome!”
“We should increase more foreigners and immigrants!”
“Multiculturalism is great”
“Trump is disgusting, immigrants are all great!”
I am not like that anymore. I was too naive. I do believe now, we shouldn’t open the door easily and accept any foreigner and immigrant.
I do know what’s happening in Europe nowadays. This actually really surprised me because I used to really hate Trump. But to be honest with you, I’m actually more like Trump’s side, rather than Clinton’s, when it comes to immigration at least.
I don’t trust every foreigner and every immigrant anymore. Foreigner’s like Logan Paul made me change my view. I know that you want to say that, “But not all foreigners are bad people!” Of course I know, but not all foreigners are good people. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still not against immigrants and foreigners. I actually believe that there must be some benefits for Japan by accepting them, and having different cultures.
However, if that’s going to cause people like Logan Paul to come to Japan, or even live in Japan, I’m not really sure about that anymore. Now you can take this as, anti-foreigner, racist, or whatever. But I don’t care.
I do care about Japan, because that’s my own country. I really don’t want anyone like Logan Paul to come to Japan.

Even if that’s a small, tiny percentage of all foreigners like just 1%. I still don’t want to see those people in my country. That’s killing me.
Maybe you can still argue that, “But Nobita, don’t you think that Japan is too homogeneous?” “That’s not good for Japanese people.” You may be right, but we have to make sure getting the right kind of immigrants and foreigners, to make our country safe. After everything happened, we really need to think about how is that going to affect Japan actually?
If this kind of tragedy ever happens again, perhaps we need to think twice before opening our gate.
