[ Sarah Palin ]
I don’t think it changed me at all, I have the same values and convictions and positions in policies, and just a greater appreciation, I think, for what other candidates go through, you know, it’s pretty, it’s pretty brutal, that, the time consumption there, and the, and the energy that has to be spent in order to get out and about with the message on a national level. The great appreciation for other candidates who have gone through this, but also, ah, a greater appreciation for this great country, there are so many good Americans, who are just desiring of their government to kinda to get out of the way and allow them to grow and progress and allow our businesses to grow and progress – a great appreciation for those who share that value – and it was a blast everyday – and it was just a blast out there on the trail.

Any other future plans for office?
[ Sarah Palin ]
Ah, Ah, you know plans just include ah, ah, get it through, ah ah, the budget process we are going through right now – building the States budget based on the price of oil that has plummeted so greatly and raining in the growth of government and ah, ah, plans like that, that have to do with helping to govern the State and building this team, that is, that is, continually being built. To provide good service to Alaskans, so in my role as Governor that, that’s what my plans are all around.

Due to the decline of oil prices. Are you concerned about any safe programs being on the chopping block?
[ Sarah Palin ]
You know, thankfully, we are in a good position still, fiscally speaking, we are in a good position, but it made no sense at a hundred and forty dollars a barrel of oil, that, that some law makers wanted to spend, spend, spend. We were warning them, the Administration was that we needed to prepare the day that the price of oil would plummet which of course it has done, so we has prepared then, um, rained in the growth of government then, and we will, um, now, that comes into play at this point, where those savings we has set aside, forward funding, anticipating a drop in oil and accounting for that, all of that comes into play at fifty dollar a barrel of oil.

[inaudible] so important for you?
[ Sarah Palin ]
Ohhhhh, this was, this was neat. I was happy to get to be invited and participate in this and ah, you know, ah, for one, you need a bit of levity in this job, especially with ah, so much that has gone on in the last couple of months that been so political, obviously, that it’s nice to get out and, and do something to promote a local business and just to participate in something that isn’t so heavy handed politics that ah, that invites criticism. Certainly, invite criticism for even doing this too, but at least this was fun.

And what is it that your thankful for this year?
[ Sarah Palin ]
Oh, I’m so thankful for the health and happiness of my family, that my son’s striker brigade is safe over there in Iraq – relatively safe. School is going well for the kids and Trig is happy and healthy, just very thankful for the health and happiness of my family, but then, as much so, that thankfulness that I have of being in Alaska – knowing that this is the land of opportunities, possibilities, so happy to get to be here.

[ Sarah Palin ]
I will be in charge of the Turkey, ya, my sisters and my Mom are bringing everything else, but I’m always in charge of the Turkey’s, so I’m where I need to be to prepare for that.
