Little Penguin lost no more. Dirk is back after a night on the tiles, not his choice as far as we know. He was allegedly taken from Sea World on a Australia’s Gold Coast by a group of young men who were having quite a night out. Parks spokeman Trevor Long:

This animal is a captive born animal 7 years old, never experienced things like boats or wide open spaces so we are very fortunate to see Dirk back with his mates this morning.

This man, one of three arrested over Dirks excursion, not in such great spirits after being charged with tresspass, stealing and unlawfully keeping a protected animal. Police alerted after Dirk was Facebooked; his captors apparently pannicing after discovering in their apartment so they pumped him in a nearby river. He’s just glad to be home.
