On Sunday with the murder and the knowledge that a woman is burying their child – that’s not natures way.

Children are supposed to bury their adults after a long life and a happy retirement and they pass in their sleep in their bed.

A mother shouldn’t have to get a phone call that their son is dead on Semple [Ave in St. Louis].

And I went to be after 3 weeks on this billboard, 120 degree heat index, behind there is probably 130. And are you going to quibble with me about a few hours or are you gonna go get out and do something. Or just you want a sound bite for your paper.

Are you going to play this – or are you going to cut it down to where you want it?

I challenge you to get out in the neighborhood – I challenge ST LOUIS POST-DISPATCH to set up a tent. And stay out there and learn the people – I got billboards on the Natural Bridge [Rd.], I got them on the dip-set. I got them on the blood-set.

And I go there cause my father handed out cigarettes to everybody he saw – he bought a pack of Newport’s everyday of his life to hand out and I learned.

To keep cigarettes and not say ‘get out of my face’ – I learned to hand them a a cigarette be nice. He kept change, when somebody asked him for 45 cents at [Clara Ave] and Roosevelt, he gave it to them.

When somebody asked for change in front of Mom’s Deli, Goodfellow [Blvd.] and Lotus [Ave.], Goodfellow [Blvd.] and Roosevelt [Pl.].

[Denise Hollinshed (Reporter for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch):]
It sounds like your upset because you may have to stay back out – back out here but that’s your choice, right?

Denise, what we have here… is a failure to communicate, you’re wanting me to admit failure and I ain’t gonna do it! Ain’t Gonna Do It! Ain’t gonna happen! Ain’t gonna happen! So we’re gonna celebrate, commiserate and you are going to see me out here but I’ll highly doubt that I’ll see you out here. You’ll probably be at your Union Christmas party but you won’t be out here. What neighborhood are you from?
