[Cherry Dollface – A Personal Message About Bullying And Suicide]
Hey, everybody. I just wanted to take a minute and talk about something kind of personal. I watched a movie last night called Bully. I’m not sure, if you guys have seen it, but it’s amazing. It’s on Netflix, if you want to see it, but it’s just about kids in school getting bullied and kids that have committed suicide from getting bullied. And I know that I posted a video, the beginning of this year about just being more positive and being kinder to each other.
But I actually got an e-mail from a girl the other day that told me that, basically that I had saved her from committing suicide. And ah wohhh, it is amazing to me that, I could have an influence like that over somebody, and I feel like just as much as I can positive influence on people, you guys and me alike can have negative influence on people and sometimes we don’t realize how much influence that we have over people or really impact that we have on people. And I feel like if we are all a little bit more aware of putting kindness into the world and less negativity that it would really make a big difference in a lot of people’s lives.
So just like in my video at the beginning of the year, I’m kind of campaigning to really start to be kind to each other whether it’s just to take a moment of each day to be nice to somebody whether it’s – somebody you know and love or a stranger on the street.
Just say something nice, leave a nice comment somewhere, trade your snarky remark for something nice, and it really actually makes you feel better to.

I was bullied through school pretty badly, and now on the other side obviously I’m stronger person and I feel like when you are in high school or when you’re in – I mean really any stage of school you feel like that’s your whole world, and if something goes wrong, your whole world is over, and it’s not – trust me, you girls that are going through a hard time in school, I went through it too and I’m on the other side and because I didn’t change who I was to be popular or to be accepted, now as an adult I couldn’t be happier with who I am and with my life.
So I know those years suck, but you just got to get through them and to any of you guys that are feeling thoughts of hurting yourself or suicidal thoughts, just talk to somebody whether it’s a suicide hotline or a friend or a family member or just anybody, just I mean it really does make a huge difference. I can’t tell you enough I’ve struggled with depression my whole life, and it’s always been the people that I love, that have helped me get through it and no matter how alone you feel or how different or how much you feel like you just don’t fit in: whether it’s because of your physical appearance or because of the way you like to dress; or the music that you listen to or the books that you read or your outlook on life.
There is always somebody out there in the world that is going to understand you and maybe sometimes it’s just one person, maybe that’s all it takes is to find that one person that get you whether it’s a romantic relationship or a friend or whatever it is, but don’t give up, and it does get better, I know that there is a campaign out there called It Does Get Better for gay teens that are dealing with it. But just in general for you people, for you guys and girls that are going through hard time and feel like it’s never going to change, it does and I promise you it does get better.
So don’t give up there is hope and there is people like me out there loving all of you guys, so please, please, please if you do see out ‘n about. I know a lot of you left comments that you were afraid to say something, but I really do love to feel some of that positivity, I’m trying to put into the universe back. So I love when you stop and say hello and give me a hug and just let me know that you’re watching and I’ve made some sort of difference, because that’s really my goal.

And just keep putting positive stuff in the world you guys, like we don’t – there is so much horrible, terrible tragedy out there that leaving a shitty comment on somebody’s Facebook page is – what’s the point, really.
So any ways just be nice to each other, and for those of you guys that are going through a hard time, don’t give up, it gets better.
