That’s hot.
[2-Pac]
That’s good.
[Snoop Dogg]
You cool?
[2-Pac]
No, I am straight. I could say it with Snoop Dog, that’s great.
[Cross Talk Inaudible]
Clear my throat.
[Snoop Dogg] Source: LYBIO.net
We are straight; I guess I’m.
[Interviewer]
You’ve lost the best rap video. You’re all disappointed about that?
[2-Pac]
Oh no, I didn’t lose see, because I sold 6.5 million copies, so –
[Snoop Dogg]
He won.
[2-Pac]
I won.
[Interviewer]
When all these famous people get together, what’s the one thing you take away? Is everybody much shorter than you thought? I know a lot of people find Snoop and say, you know 6 foot 4, I had no idea.
[2-Pac]
Oh yeah.
[Interviewer] Source: LYBIO.net
But to people who seem shorter, there is a lot of attitude going on. What’s the one thing you take away?
[2-Pac]
Oh, there is a lot of attitude of course because nobody thought we would show up here. But you know, we always feel like, we’re keeping it real, — scratch that. We always felt like we’re being true to everything we’ve always say represented.
[Snoop Dogg]
Exactly.
[2-Pac]
And our audiences worldwide, we’re not even; no, no — no, we’re coming out here and there is some east coast, west coast. We’ve got be with the people we got be with or we could go anywhere in the country because we are America’s most wanted.
[Snoop Dogg]
Exactly.
[2-Pac]
You can’t stop the flow.
[Snoop Dogg]
You can’t stop what America want.
[Interviewer]
On that note, I know that Biggie and Puffy are here tonight. Do you see them? Do you have anything to say to them at all?
[2-Pac] Source: LYBIO.net
But even if we saw them, we are not – we are businessmen, we are not animals. It’s not like, we’re going to see them and rush them and jump on them. If they see us and they want to put drama, we’re going to definitely bring it like only Devereux could bring it. But we’re here as business men to enjoy and…
[Snoop Dogg]
And support the Video Music Awards.
[Tupac]
…and support the Video Music Awards for MTV because they support us. So if they want to come and use this business opportunity to get on some gangster, you know, we do that better than anybody.
[Interviewer]
Can you envision a day when you all – if not get together and make an album, just peacefully coexist?
[Tupac]
There’s no dream of making an album with Biggie and Puffy or none of them. We’re not sweating it like that.
[Snoop Dogg]
This is our family over here – that’s right.
[Tupac] Source: LYBIO.net
We peacefully coexist right now because we’re all cool. Everybody is here, everybody – they sell records, we sell records. I guess you could call that as selling records; what they do. We sell large amounts of records and they sell a few records and really there is no competition.
People are really making too much out of it than it is. It’s really just, if you want to talk, we’re going to make it specific as to what you could talk about and what you can’t talk about. And the east coast, west coast thing is something that the journalists and people are making up just to get paid out of this and so it can drag out. So they’re perpetuating this so there could be drama, which I still love MTV. But when it all goes down, don’t look at me and Biggie and be like why is there a big east coast, west coast war when you’re shooting this to 30 – 300 homes, 300 countries telling them about a east coast, west coast war. They would never know it exists. So that’s where information becomes a problem. I mean if you lose… I gotta be the one to let you know.
[Cross Talk Inaudible]
[Snoop Dogg]
And if it did – if it did exist, Pac, we wouldn’t be here.
[Tupac]
Right
[Snoop Dogg]
So I’ll let you know it does not exist.
[Tupac]
Why, and if it exist, how we’re going to be sitting here and talking about it. We’ll try to be better role models and you all try to stop putting that drama out there. You’ve got a lot of power, lot of responsibility. We both do, we both need to exercise greater restrain.
[Three days later, Tupac was fatally shot in Las Vegas.]
