Your career and the ark of your career was really inspiring to me as a starting musician. You moved from Chigaco to Los Angeles, I did the same.

I did indeed, ya, I didn’t move for music, in fact, despite music. And I moved to Chicago specifically cause I didn’t wanna got to New York or L.A., I was like, that’s – that’s, like, that’s where everybody goes to try to like: “Make it”. I wanna go to a town where you can actually play music and and and like there’s other people “playing music” and not about “Making it”. We’ve never become an L.A. local band really, I still feel like, I feel like our band comes from Chicago than L.A.

Can you tell us something about your path on Youtube, and how that changed your music career? How that changed what you’re doing?

We are extremely lucky to have our Treadmill video come into existence right around the same time Youtube did ah, and we were like one of the ten – ten things there people can – like – whooooa!~ And, I mean, it’s changed our lives entirely, it really convinced us, in a complete smack you in the face way, that it’s never worth trying to play by somebody else’s creative rules.
