Bono had sent me the song called “Slow Dancing” many years ago – five, six years ago, and ah, he wanted me to record it, and I listened to it and I thought it was a great song but I was waiting until the – really waiting until I could do it with him – not knowing if that would ever happen or not. And sure enough in Ireland last year ah, I was invited over to the studio
He said about that song – you know – you wanna do it now – we got up the wedding band which was Larry, Adam and Edge – played it – the first take he sung it – it’s kinda magical I think.
