I usually in a festive mood during the holidays and I like to give nice gifts to my friends and family. Like Fruit-Cake! (screaming) My cat “Tucks” usually likes it(Fruit-Cake) as long as its not stale that you have to use a saw to cut through it but sometimes I like to play pranks like this year, I’m giving the tickle-box and here’s how to make it!

Like all really good projects you will need some electronic components to pull this one off. Its not hard to make as long as you have a soldering gun, you can even use tape if you had to. You can find everything at your local electronics store like Radio Shack or even online. You’ll need a small audio transformer, a relay, a capacitor and a magnetic read switch. And of course you’ll need a way to power it, and that will be a 9 volt battery. And you’ll also need a few other items you can find around the house. Now building the circuit is fairly easy and I’ll tell you at the end of the video where you can find the schematic to make it. Basically, we are taking the audio transformer and wiring it backwards, so by putting nine volts into it, we end up getting 99 volts out. But it ends up being only a few mili-amps which is a very small shock. Source: LYBIO.net Once the circuit is finished it time to put it in something, like a little gift box. Using a pin or nail poke a small hole at the bottom of the box, and then feed one of the output wires through the box, and then we’re going to tape it to the bottom of the box. Then we’ll use some glue to glue the audio transformer and relay in place. Then the other wire will be put through a hole on top of the box and also taped down. Now, its time to cover the bottom of the box with aluminum foil, making sure it will come in contact with that one wire we taped down earlier. And that electrical tape will be used to insulate the bottom of the box from the top of the box. Then cover the top of the box with the aluminum foil. Add the 9 volt battery and our Ticklebox is done. Now as soon as somebody picks up the box the read switch closes the contact and they get a shocking tickle.
