I’m from a small village called Gortin (inaudible) quite literally it’s in the middle of nowhere, it’s pretty bleak. Because of where I live, I do spend a lot of time by myself in my room, reading, writing and singing. The reason why I – I haven’t been out singing is probably the lack of confidence, it’s a lot easier to sing in the house than it is to sing in-front of an audience. I’ve been writing song and poetry since I was 7 years old. Just gives you an easy escape to like to get your thoughts out of your head so they stop bugging you.

This competition is such a huge contrast to anything that I have ever done before. The fact that I’ve been able to fly out here and do this audition is huge. It could be life changing potentially, I hope it is. So nervous, ya I can’t even put it in words how nervous I am. Back stage, I don’t think I can be able to breath.
