Andrew, you look a little nervous.

You are gonna sing for us?
Andrew: ( softly says: ) Yep
Its all yours, take it away.
Background Voice: So he’s up and Mom awaits anxiously in the wings.

Whats you name?
And how old are you Andrew?
Thirteen, and what do you do?
Are you a singer and how long have you been singing for?
Andrew: Since I was six.
Since you were six years old.
Okay and what’s the dream Andrew?
Andrew: To sing on stage.
Okay, do you get support with your friends?
Andrew: I get bullied a lot
You get bullied from where?
Andrew: Like at the school.
At the school.
Andrew: I’ve been bullied all my life since I was six they been telling us to leave it and say they don’t like that kind of music.
And how do you deal with it?
Andrew: I carry on singing.
That’s the best answer.
Andrew: I live in a _________ state I don’t want to be hangin around the streets but make something with my life.

Andrew, the thing about school bullies is that they don’t like you for one reason is – you got more talent they they ever could dream of ever having – ever.
Andrew – I think that you are better than you think you are. Hear it from me – you are good.
But most importantly, what I wanna see now Andrew is – I want to see a bit of confidence and self belief. I want you to come on and if you make it through to the next round look me in the eye and say – you know what I can win this. Cause you are capable.
