This is a message for Doug Parker the CEO of American Airlines, I believe Doug, your *strap line* is going for great.
Unfortunately my experience of American Airlines over the past seven days has been nothing short of abysmal.
Firstly my flight out of Birmingham was canceled after waiting four hours because I needed to get to get to New York, I didn’t have to spend nearly 1,500 £ getting a taxi and a flight from London Heathrow to get to New York for my meetings on time.
Your company’ refused to refund me that money.
And only refunded me half of that money.
They also told me my bag would be forwarded and it hasn’t been, so I have been without clothes for a week and had to incur the expense of buying new clothes.
I now need to get home from New York a day earlier and I just rang your call center to change the flight,
I now can’t change the flight because I didn’t get the outbound flight to the U.S. –
I think that’s absolutely disgraceful that the only reason I didn’t get the outbound flight with your
airline was because you cancelled the flight.
I’d really like if someone could get in touch with me about the problems I’ve been having with American because right now you are no where near great.
